This was the last gift for the team mates of KKR from their owner and mentor Sharukh Khan. The gift was a 24 Carat gold plated helmet of each one of the team. SRK said that the team deserved this helmet more than anyone and also expressed the wish of playing in the team.
While the other team mates were happy to receive their helmets, cricketer Shoaib Akhtar announced that he would put the helmet on e-bay for auction and then donate the money to the charity in the name of mother Teresa. This act of SRK’s also dismissed all the rumors of him having a problem with the team. As the environment becomes emotional, we expect the KKRs to perform better in next season.
